Mediterranean Garden

Mediterranean style is adopted from the houses located on the outskirt of the beach in Italy, Spanish until the dry region at Arab. This style of garden has dry characteristic. The important element in Mediterranean garden is hard material like stone, sand and gravel. It’s texture is rough.
The rough texture in Mediterranean dry garden arises from its hard material and the hard character of plants that also have the sharp leaves. This hard character often make this garden style looks exotic. The identical plant with Mediterranean garden is cactus, although it isn’t always so. Any other plants with sharp and pointed leaves and thorny can be used like agave, siklok and yucca. Other tropical plants such as euphorbia, sikas, sanseviera and pineapple can be used.
As mentioned before that this style of garden usually has hard elements. In order to make these elements look prominent, so the plants aren’t made close. Or in other word we put the plant distantly spaced. Usually the plant is arranged as if it arises within the stones. This is adaption from natural condition in Mediterranean beach.
